Thomas (Thom) Demaree, Executive Director

Thom is a native of Michigan in the United States.  He attended Central Michigan University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.  Thom spent six years working in the field of business as a purchasing agent, before serving in the United States Peace Corps in Malawi, Central Africa for two years.

Thom obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida State University in 1990 and has spent the last 25 years working with abused children in Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, and the United Kingdom.

Thom joined the missionary field with Operation Mobilization (OM) in Moldova from 2013 to 2014, and is now continuing his missionary and social work calling through the JM Demaree Foundation.

 

Marcella Rustioni, Secretary

Marcella is a native of North Carolina in the United States.  She attended the University of North Carolina (UNC) Chapel Hill where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies and French.  She returned to graduate school at UNC and received a Master’s Degree in Social Work.

Marcella has been working with abused children now for years.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), who specializes in child sexual abuse, and physical abuse, in Washington, D.C.

 

Joel Welti, Assistant-Treasurer

Joel is a native of Switzerland.  He attended Zurich University of Applied Sciences where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology.  Joel worked for four years as an IT specialist until he joined the Youth with a Mission on a six month intensive discipleship training course in Panama.

Joel joined Operation Mobilization (OM), an Evangelical Christian Missionary Agency in Moldova in 2014, where he provided IT expertise to the B4T department, and participated in short-term mission trips.  Joel has now relocated to Switzerland where he is an IT developer.

 

Cindy Jones, Treasurer

Cindy is a native of Michigan in the United States.  She has worked as a secretary and receptionist for over 15 years.  Cindy is currently a housewife and a full-time secretary at her Baptist church in Allen Park, Michigan.
